Art Class General Info

Your child/teen will love our “FLOURISH – Creative:Summer” arts and crafts workshops!

They are specifically designed to ignite your (5 -1o year old) or (11-17 year old) child’s imagination and filled with all sorts of creative goodness.  Under the guidance of two professional artists/educators (Candace J. Metzger and her artistic guru mom Linda Allen), each artist will explore a host of making techniques: sculpting with clay, mosaic, puppet & mask making, jewelry making, illustrating and writing books, working with pastels, oils, acrylics, printmaking, sewing and more!

We host these classes in our working art studio in Glendale, California. It’s a friendly, magical and amazing space filled with art, books – and a lot of creative history. Along with making our creations in this space, we will be creating art outside in our whimsical garden courtyard as well.

Our classes are designed so that students may sign up for as many or as few classes as they wish. Each day will explore a different medium! AND we will provide all the supplies PLUS a healthy snack at 12:00!

Please feel free to drop off your child, or stay a while and nab a cup of freshly brewed coffee and hang out for a bit!
